BART Board meets Thursday evening on budget, proposed changes to bike rules
The BART Board of Directors will meet at 6 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2013, in an effort to make the Board meeting more accessible to members of the public who may not be able to attend meetings routinely held at 9 am.
The agenda for Thursday’s meeting contains several key issues, including a public hearing on BART’s budget for the next fiscal year, and a possible vote on changing rules regarding bicycles on trains (for the complete agenda, visit the Board's agenda section).
This is the first time the Board has met at night since 2001. The Board’s June 13, 2013, meeting is also scheduled to begin at 6 pm.
Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting in the BART Board Room on the third floor of the Kaiser Center 20th Street Mall at the corner of 20th and Webster in Oakland.
As always, the meeting will be streamed live on www.bart.gov/board.
