Pittsburg/Bay Point track maintenance cancelled for 6/28-6/29

Update 6/27--We have cancelled the track maintenance planned this weekend.

We are conducting track maintenance from Pleasant Hill in the northbound direction on Saturday, 6/14 and 6/21 and Sunday 6/29. This work will cause 10-15 minute delays. There will be 20-30 minute delays with a transfer required between Lafayette and Concord on Sunday 6/15 and 6/22 and Saturday 6/28. The work will occur between 8:30 am and 3 pm.

To minimize delays, you may want to use Orinda Station which will have regular weekend service throughout this work. Customers travelling between Orinda and Pittsburg/Bay Point will be required to transfer to complete your trip. When our scheduled work cannot accommodate 20 minute service we will use “shuttle” trains to provide service in the affected area. 

To ensure safety when we are working near tracks you may notice trains travelling slower than in the past. We realize that this change may slightly lengthen the delays you experience. We appreciate your patience as we work to keep providing you with the high level of service you rely upon.
