Elevator flooring work at Fruitvale Station 9/26-30
We will be replacing the elevator flooring at Fruitvale Station starting Monday, September 26 to Friday, September 30, 2016. Work will be done on the platform elevator that serves trains travelling toward Fremont (southbound). While the work is performed, there will be no elevator access to that platform.
If you require an elevator to take a train to stations south of Fruitvale, you will have to board a northbound train to Lake Merritt, and then transfer to a southbound train there and continue back to the stations south of Fruitvale.

If you arrive at a station and find that the elevator(s) are out of service, you may contact a Station Agent to arrange for a lift van to take you to a nearby station with a working elevator.
