Elevator floor & door work El Cerrito del Norte Station 9/26 - 10/14

We will begin work to replace the doors to the elevator that services the platform for Richmond-bound trains (Platform 1) on Monday, 9/26. The work will take approximately until October 7. We will replace the interior doors as well as the doors at each level.

Once the door replacement is finished, we will begin the flooring work (the jobs cannot be done at the same time) this work will end approximately 10/14. We will be upgrading the splash guards and flooring in the elevator to prevent liquid from flowing under the floor and to make cleaning the elevator easier.

There is no other elevator to Platform 1. If you need to use an elevator to access the platform or station, you will have to travel to Richmond Station, and take a train back to El Cerrito del Norte, and exit the train on Platform 2.
