Bike Station Modifications at Embarcadero Station 1/29

Update: 3/23/2020 We are experiencing a delay in re-opening the bicycle parking area due to materials delay and delays caused by the coronavirus crisis. 

As part of our Measure RR system improvements, we will be upgrading our bicycle parking at the Embarcadero Station to make it more secure. Work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, 1/29/2020 and continue for approximately six weeks reopening in mid-March.

To make these improvements, we will need to close the existing bicycle parking area (Bike Station). Once we are finished, the area will be more secure, with better lightening, additional rack types and an upgraded BikeLink access system. 

Once the Bike Station is re-opened, users will need a BikeLink® card to access (as was needed with the existing facility). You can sign up for a card at bikelink.org.
