Walnut Creek Station: streets surrounding construction site closed for repaving work
Beginning on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 7pm, the construction team at Walnut Creek Station will begin closing the streets surrounding the construction site on the north side of the station for a repaving project. The streets to be closed are Rivera, Pringle, N. California (see highlighted areas of map), along with the eastern portion of the passenger drop-off area. This paving work is being done in association with the ongoing construction of the Walnut Creek Transit Village.
Most work will be done in the evening with detours in place to provide continued access to the station. Temporary wayfinding signage will also be posted to direct customers. The streets are expected to be reopened by Friday, April 29, 2022.
