Elevator at Civic Center Station out of service October 10-28, 2022

We will take the concourse to platform levels elevator at Civic Center Station out of service to repair the doors and other parts of the unit. The work will begin on Monday, October 10, 2022 and continue to approximately Friday, October 28, 2022.

This is the only concourse to BART and Muni platform levels elevator at Civic Center Station. Riders who rely on the elevator will not be able to access the Civic Center platforms from the concourse or street level, nor exit the Civic Center platforms to get to the concourse or street levels.

We recommend riders use the Powell Street Station as an alternative. Powell Street Station is .04 miles away from Civic Center Station. Riders can use Muni at street level to travel to and from the Civic Center and Powell Street stations.

If you arrive at any station and find that the elevator(s) are out of service, you may contact a Station Agent to arrange for a lift van to take you to a nearby station with a working elevator.
