MacArthur Station escalators temporarily closed for cleaning starting January 13

Beginning at 8pm on Friday, January 13, 2023, all four escalators at BART’s MacArthur Station will be temporarily taken out of service for cleaning. The escalators will be put back in service by start of service on Monday, January 16, 2023. The escalators all run between the street level and platform level of the station.

Next to each of the escalators is a stairway that riders can use as an alternative. They can also use two nearby elevators that run between the street and platform levels.
