BART ridership numbers for Monday, September 7th

During the period between 3 a.m. Monday, September 7th and close of service around midnight, BART had 178,000 riders, or about 56,000 more than would have been expected without the Bay Bridge closure. Of those 178,000 riders, 104,000 took Transbay trips. That's about 47,000 more than would have been expected without the Bay Bridge closure.
