Elevator out at Walnut Creek Station Platform 1 to Pittsburg/Bay Point

The platform-level elevator to Platform 1 (for travel in the Pittsburg/Bay Point direction) at Walnut Creek Station will be out of service for emergency repairs through May 31. There is a problem with the hydraulic system that requires specialized service.

If you need to use an elevator for station access, please proceed to Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre Station, exit the train, cross to the opposite platform, and take a return train to Walnut Creek Station, Platform 2 which has a working elevator. Or, check 511.org to find bus or other mode of transportation that can take you to your destination from either Pleasant Hill or Lafayette station.
