Bay Bridge Pier Implosion 10/29/2106

On Saturday, 10/29, Caltrans will explode the second of three old piers that supported the now demolished section of the old Bay Bridge at 11:16am. During the explosion, BART will halt trains outside the Transbay Tube. This may result in up to 10 to 15 minute delays.
