Accessibility improvements at West Oakland Station start June 26

On Monday, June 26, 2017, we will begin work inside West Oakland Station to improve customer access. The work will be completed by approximately October 2017.

Most of the work will take place in early morning/late night hours when the station is closed, however, the work areas will be barricaded for your safety at all times. Safe pathways through the station will be provided.

Improvements will include new flooring, ramp, and stairs in the station in order to increase ease of access and safety. This will involve demolishing and removing the existing facilities using concrete saws and other equipment.
