Rail maintenance requires Sunday morning single tracking between Pleasant Hill and Concord (3/13/2022)

BART track crews will be working in Contra Costa County to resurface heavily worn rail. The work will impact service from around 7am -- before the system opens at 8am -- until noon.

To provide safe space for workers BART service between the Concord and North Concord/Martinez stations will be reduced to one track on those mornings from the start of service at 8 am until around noon. Riders should expect delays of 15-20 minutes during the window. This work will enhance the reliability of the rail and provide a smoother ride on the busiest line in the BART system.
