Elevator Outage Options
In case of an elevator outage, use the following options or contact the station agent for assistance. Agents can arrange a ride to a different station in an accessible van if needed.
PLATFORMS 1 AND 2 ELEVATOR (EAST BAY DIRECTION)
- Can't enter station: Take the elevator on the opposite platform and go back to Colma to board desired train.
- Can't exit station: Continue on BART to Balboa Park and then return to Daly City. Exit using Platform 3 elevator.
PLATFORM 3 ELEVATOR (SFO/MILLBRAE DIRECTION)
- Can't enter station: Take the elevator on the opposite platform and go back to Balboa park to board desired train.
- Can't exit station: Continue on BART to Colma and then return to Daly City. Exit using the Platform 1/2 elevator.
ELEVATORS TO PEDESTRIAN TUNNEL
- Can't enter station from tunnel: Drive, walk, or roll to the main station entrance on De Long Street (about 0.3 miles). Turn right on John Daly Boulevard and then left on De Long Street.
- Can't exit station from tunnel: Walk or roll about 0.3 miles to the parking area on the other side of the tunnel. Exit the station and take the ramp to the De Long Street parking lot. Cross the parking lot and turn right on John Daly Boulevard.
Entering Daly City Station
The BART trains at Daly City Station are located on a raised platform. Concourse is on the street level.
There are two separate elevators for either San Francisco Airport (SFO), Millbrae, Dublin/Pleasanton, Berryessa/North San José bound trains or Pittsburg/Bay Point, Richmond bound trains. Both separate elevators doors open inside the paid area. Press “P” for train platform level.
At the train platform level, from either elevator, you will be approximately at the center of the train boarding area.
Exiting Daly City Station
The train platforms at Daly City Station are located on a raised platform.
There are two separate elevators for either San Francisco Airport (SFO), Millbrae, Dublin/Pleasanton, Berryessa/North San José bound trains or Pittsburg/Bay Point, Richmond bound trains. You will be approximately at the center of the train platform. Press “S” for street level.
When exiting from either elevator, you will be inside the paid area.
