Elevator Outage Options

In case of an elevator outage, use the following options or contact the station agent for assistance. Agents can arrange a ride to a different station in an accessible van if needed. 

STATION ELEVATOR 

• Can't enter station:   Take another mode of transportation such as Muni to another BART station. The closest station is Balboa Park (1.2 miles).
• Can't exit station:  Continue on BART to exit at another station. The closest station is Balboa Park (1.2 miles).

Entering Glen Park Station

The train platforms at Glen Park Station are located one level below the street. Concourse is on the street level.

Only one elevator is needed to get from the street to the train platform.

The elevator is located inside the paid area. Travel straight from the fare gates for approximately 100 feet and turn left to travel another 100 feet to the train platform elevator.  Press “P” for train platform level.

At the train platform level, you will be at the far end of the platform.

Exiting Glen Park Station

The train platforms at Glen Park Station are located one level below the street.

Only one elevator is needed to get from the train platform to the street.

Exiting from San Francisco, East Bay bound trains the elevator will be towards the rear of the train at the far end of the platform. Press “S” for street level.

Exiting from San Francisco, Millbrae bound trains the elevator will be towards the front of the train at the far end of the platform. Press “S” for street level.

On the concourse level, travel approximately 100 feet ahead inside the paid area and turn left heading towards to the fare gates for another 100 feet.
