Elevator Outage Options

In case of an elevator outage, use the following options or contact the station agent for assistance. Agents can arrange a ride to a different station in an accessible van if needed. 

STREET ELEVATOR FROM THE EAST PLAZA 

  • Can't enter station:   Take the elevator in the BART parking garage to access the walkway to the station concourse.
  • Can't exit station:  Exit the station using the elevator in the BART parking garage.

CALTRAIN ELEVATOR - WEST PLAZA TO CONCOURSE

  • Can't enter station:   Access the station from the opposite (East Plaza) side.
  • Can't exit station:  Exit the station from the opposite (East Plaza) side.

PLATFORM 3 ELEVATOR (ALL DESTINATIONS)

  • Can't enter station:   Use the Caltrain Platform 4/Northbound elevator.
  • Can't exit station:  Use the Caltrain platform 4/Northbound elevator.

CALTRAIN ELEVATOR - CONCOURSE TO NORTHBOUND PLATFORM 

  • Can't enter station:   Use the BART Platform 3 elevator.
  • Can't exit station:  Use the BART Platform 3 elevator.

 

Entering Millbrae Station

The BART train platforms and Caltrains train platforms at Millbrae Station are located on the street level. The concourse level is elevated.

There are two street level entrances for BART Station and two street level entrances for Caltrains Station.

BART street elevator access to the concourse level elevator is on the east entry plaza. BART street elevator is outside the paid area. Press “C” for concourse level.

On the concourse level, travel approximately 130 feet to your left to the BART elevator to train platform that is located inside the paid area. Press “P” for train platform level.

At the train platform level, you will be approximately at the center of the boarding area.

Exiting Millbrae Station

The BART trains and Caltrain station at Millbrae Station are located on the street level.

The train platform elevator is approximately at the center of the train platform. Press “C” for concourse level.

On the concourse level, head towards outside the paid area and travel approximately 130 feet to your right to the street elevator. Press “S” for street level.
