Elevator Outage Options

In case of an elevator outage, use the following options or contact the station agent for assistance. Agents can arrange a ride to a different station in an accessible van if needed. 

PLATFORM 2 ELEVATOR (RICHMOND, SFO/MILLBRAE/DALY CITY DIRECTIONS) 

• Can't enter station:   Take the Platform 1 elevator to the opposite platform. Go back to Bay Fair and board the desired train.
• Can't exit station:  Continue on BART to Coliseum and return to San Leandro. Exit using the Platform 1 elevator.

PLATFORM 1 ELEVATOR (DUBLIN, BERRYESSA DIRECTIONS) 

• Can't enter station:   Take the Platform 2 elevator to the opposite platform. Go back to Coliseum and board the desired train.
• Can't exit station:  Continue on BART to Bay Fair and return to San Leandro. Exit using the Platform 2 elevator.

ENTERING SAN LEANDRO STATION

The train platforms at San Leandro Station are located on a raised platform. Concourse is on the street level.

There are two separate elevators for Berryessa/North San José, Dublin/Pleasanton bound trains or San Francisco, Richmond bound trains. Both elevator doors open inside the paid area on the concourse level. Press “P” for train platform level. 

At the train platform level, from either elevator, you will be approximately at the center of the train boarding area.

EXITING SAN LEANDRO STATION

The train platforms at San Leandro Station are on located on a raised platform one level above the street.

There are two separate elevators for Berryessa/North San José, Dublin/Pleasanton bound trains or San Francisco, Richmond bound trains. The elevators are located approximately at the center of the train platform boarding area. Press “C” for concourse level.

When exiting from either elevator, you will be inside the paid area.
