Station Lighting Upgrades
Concord BART riders will enjoy LED lighting improvements that will be installed throughout the station, from the concourse to the platform. Behind the scenes, important upgrades to the emergency lighting system, back-up power, and lighting controls will also be included in this work. Construction is targeted to begin fall 2025. This project, identified in the 2016 Concord Station Modernization Plan, is currently in design with funding from the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) program and Measure RR. Construction is expected to begin in 2026.
